Teapot Set with four Cups- Turquoise

This teapot comes with four small cups. With a capacity of 1 Liter it is ideal for enjoying a pot of tea with friends and family. It is easy to hold when pouring and brings light and colour to the table. My teapots are handmade on the potter’s wheel with red maiolica clay from Montelupo. They are glazed with a white glaze and painted with onglaze colour pigments. I use them to make tea with fresh herbs, loose tea leaves or tea bags.

The cups can be washed in the dishwasher and for the teapot I recommand handwashing.

My maiolica ceramics are made with clays and glazes that have been perfected by Italian ceramic manufacturers to make tableware for everyday use at home, in cafes and restaurants. They are durable, food safe and dishwasher safe. However, pots made with this traditional technique are not suitable for use in microwaves, freezers or baking at high temperatures.
